Flânerie was long considered a male activity (while street women were either beggars or prostitutes), but a lot of female art and thought is inspired by the experience of a walk in the city.
Nevertheless, flâneuses seem to have an element of transgression: they go where they‘re not supposed to.
Alexandra Cárdenas and Caroline Siegers take us on their very own musical journey, weaving their street adventures into their performance. Alexandra Cárdenas is producing her own independent code on stage, Caroline Siegers performs with her custom built MIDI controllers, both very inclined to leave the paved roads at any time.
