TRIPLETTE (2015)

Caroline Siegers, punchcard triplet

The triplet was designed as a motor driven punchcard DJ set in collaboration with Milan Siegers. The purpose is to play several punchcards at the same time, loop them and have hands free for other instruments. It premiered at the occasion of Büchner’s Leonce und Lena, Theater Koblenz, directed by Matthias Schönfeldt.

We unpacked all our guitar effects, played our string instruments into loop stations, and added some distorted music box phrases and weird samples – while traveling to the remotest places of the universe.
